Gordon Dale is a co-owner of MedXus and Crown Dental and Medical Ltd.

Originally from Scotland, Gordon travelled extensively before settling in New Zealand in 1995. He has a wealth of experience in sales, product and project management and has a clinical background specialising in Intensive Care.

Ross Gunn - Director

Ross Gunn is a co-owner of MedXus and Crown Dental & Medical Ltd.

He has been involved in the NZ Health Industry since 1984 and has extensive experience in all aspects of business and management surrounding this. Ross lives in Christchurch and, as well being a staunch Crusaders fan, admits to being a true cricket tragic!

Tim Flemmer

Tim Flemmer - Account Manager

Having joined MedXus at the beginning of 2012, Tim comes to the position with a strong clinical and commercial background. During his career he has worked in the electronics industry involved in sales, marketing and general management.

In-depth knowledge of MedXus’s range of medical devices allows Tim to effectively communicate the key advantages these unique products bring to his clients. Coming from a long line of educators, Tim has a natural ability to train clients and their staff to safely and confidently use the medical devices he supplies.

Tim’s clinical background as an Intensive Care Nurse has given him an innate understanding of the challenges health care professionals face in their everyday work environment. The combination of a strong commercial background and a people focused orientation makes for an ideal synergy of skills and experience.

Tim is driven by his passion to provide the best products and service to his clients and their patients. A Bachelor of Health Science from the Auckland University of Technology provides a solid foundation to base his professional work ethic on. Tim is the North Island Account Manager and is responsible for the Lakes region through to Northland.

Kathryn Bergman

Kathryn Bergman - Account Manager

Kathryn recently joined Medxus in July 2013 as Territory Manager for the lower North Island.

Previously in her career, Kathryn owned and operated a successful private Podiatry Practice, and subsequently utilised her extensive business and clinical skills when she moved into a medical sales role in 2001. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Health Science from the Central Institute of Technology.

Chris Russell

Chris Russell - Account Manager

Chris Russell is the South Island Territory Manager and national LIFEPAK product expert.

Chris has 23 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, with the last 14 years’ dealing with LIFEPAK products, having previously worked directly for the manufacturers, Physio-Control. Chris has extensive knowledge on all LIFEPAK products and the data management systems as well as servicing customers’ needs for the entire MedXus range.

Donald Brightwell

Born and raised in the Bay of Plenty, Donald has spent his working life in the Electronics and Office automation industry, in both technical and managerial roles. Having worked inNew Zealand, Australia and the UK for multinational companies, Donald has now made Canterbury home, joined the Medxus Service team and is responsible for the management of the Department.

Barry Tie - Technical Services Engineer

Having attained his NZCE, Barry worked in the electronic manufacturing industry with adaptive technologies for the blind and partially sighted, as well as customisable hearing aid technologies. When manufacturing was moved offshore in 2008, Barry joined the Medxus team. Barry undertakes repairs of all products that Medxus service from interactive manikins to networked patient monitoring systems.

Based in Auckland, Bryan has over 30 years in the experience in the digital imaging, mobile computing and biomedical engineering fields. Having gained his Trade Certificate in Radio an Associated Electronics, Bryan applied his learning with 11 years at an international electronics manufacturing company, and 5 years in the UK.

Malinda joined the MedXus team in 2012. She has a New Zealand Diploma in Business, combined with over 11 years’ experience in Administration and Customer Service within the Healthcare Industry. Malinda is the first point of contact for all incoming customer orders and enquiries, and also assists the MedXus Account Mangers with the preparation of quotations.

Drawing from years of experience across diverse industries, Ben brings creative, well researched and proven ideas into the marketing mix. Ben Joined the MedXus team in February 2015.

Michael joined MedXus in April 2014 and is responsible for Local and International Purchasing. With over 25 years’ experience in Procurement and Logistics, Michael is able to provide a wealth of knowledge and experience to MedXus.

Immigrated to New Zealand from Cape Town, South Africa and has been residing in Christchurch since. His experience in warehousing/distribution spans over years having been involved in similar roles in previous companies.
