Mark IV Resuscitator

The Ambu Mark IV is available in two sizes: The Ambu Mark IV Adult designed for manual ventilation of adults and children with a body weight of down to approximately 15 kg (3 years), and the Ambu Mark IV Baby for infants and children with a body weight of up to about 20 kg (4-5 years). The unique Ambu double wall concept clearly distinguishes the genuine Ambu bag from all other manual resuscitators. It provides the “touch” Ambu bags are famous for. The thin outer cover gives the user a very good “fingertip” feeling for how much pressure is needed, while the inner lining with its air holes allows rapid recoil for optimum stroke volume. Both Mark IV Adult and Baby are 100 % latex-free. The slim design and crystal clear casing housing the unique single-shutter valve allow unimpeded observation of the valve operation and make it easier to view and manage airflow to the patient.

Silicone Resuscitators

Ambu Silicone Resuscitators are designed for manual ventilation on neonates through to adults. Ambu Silicone Resuscitators are semi-transparent and come with a pressure limitation valve (excluding adult version). Silicone resuscitators can be autoclaved repeatedly at 134°C. The silicone resuscitators are made from 100% non latex material.

SPUR^® II Disposable Resuscitators

The Ambu SPUR II (Single Patient Use Resuscitator) is designed for manual ventilation of neonates through to adults.

Ambu SPUR II is the only resuscitator that is made from a SEBS material instead of PVC. This classifies Ambu SPUR II as environmentally safe and fully disposable, thus eliminating all risks of cross contamination.
The unique single-shutter valve has proven its reliability over two decades of emergency and hospital use. The crystal clear valve housing provides an unimpeded view of the valve operation, and the slim design makes it easier to view the mask.

The convenient handle makes it easier to hold the unit and to ventilate a patient with just one hand if necessary. And our characteristic design provides optimum stroke volume with perfect recoil – yet is smaller and lighter than most other disposable units.
